We got our first ultrasound a couple weeks ago, and that was so dang cool! Baby was bouncing all over the place like a little bean. James claims that he was going "Ape-Shit" in there cuz he's starving - blah... I'd like to see him try to force-feed himself! I have the pictures saved, and thought I was going to be able to upload them to my blog, but it's a .pdf file and I'll be damned if I have enough patience (or know-how, in case you're wondering) to get them saved as a compatible file for the blogging world. Maybe someday I'll be able to post them.
James and I LOVE to study the U.S. pictures... he already has little pipsqueak legs, and tooty little feet - just like his Dad! Oh, by the way - we're just calling Baby "he" for now - that's easier than saying "baby" and I am NOT ok with anyone calling my child "it"!
We announced our exciting news to the family when we went to St. George for our little family getaway the first part of April....
I ordered a Costco cake (chocolate cake, chocolate cream filling, and chocolate buttercream icing... mmmm!! Wish I would've felt like eating more of it.) and had them write our announcement like this...

BABY!
Due October 2009
It didn't turn out as cute as I wanted it to, but it got the point across!
I guess this explains the no posting spree I've been on - being pregnant isn't the most glamorous experience I've ever had. Actually, it has pretty much sucked for the past 8 weeks. I've felt like I've had a really bad hang over for two months - ugh. I'm welcoming week 14 on Monday, and hopefully things will start turning around.
Off to do my daily worshiping of the porcelain throne... catch ya later.
